John Roberts(John David Roberts) is a Canadian-American journalist, reporter, and anchor. He works for the Fox News Channel as a co-anchor of America Reports. Prior to that, Roberts was the Chief White House Correspondent covering the Trump administration for Fox News in three years. Roberts joined Fox News as a national correspondent based in Atlanta. Before joining the Fox channel in 2011, Robert worked at CNN where he was an anchor and Senior National Correspondent.
In 1975, Roberts began his professional career as a reporter and news anchor for CFOS in Owen Sound, Ontario. He moved on to work for CHYM in Kitchener, then on-air for CJBK in London, Ontario in 1977, before returning to Toronto and joining top-40 powerhouse CHUM as a weekday evening disc jockey later that year. He worked for City-TV as an anchor and reporter of MuchMusic from 1979 to 1987. Roberts worked as an anchor/reporter for WCIX in Miami, Florida between 1989 and 1990. Before joining CTV in 1990, CBS News in 1992, and CNN in 2006, he worked in a variety of radio and television jobs.
Roberts has won multiple awards for his coverage of the Atlanta Olympic bombing, Princess Diana’s death, and the TWA tragedy, including an Emmy, a New York Press Club award, and three national Emmy Awards.
