Before joining CBS, Morales served for NBC News as a correspondent on Dateline NBC and NBC Nightly News, as well as the West Coast anchor of Today. Morales relocated to Los Angeles, where she joined Today as the West Coast anchor.

Morales began her career at NBC News in the network’s Hartford, Connecticut-based station WVIT.
