Robert Costa is an American journalist and reporter currently working as a national political reporter for The Washington Post. He covers Congress and the White House, traveling regularly across the country to meet with voters and elected officials. Costa also serves as a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. Costa was the former moderator and managing editor of Washington Week on PBS from 2017 to 2021. 

He is a proud graduate of Norte Dame University and Cambridge University. Costa was a member of The Cambridge Union debate society and focused his studies on Winston Churchill while at Cambridge. Andrew Gamble, a British academic and author, served as his advisor. Costa was on the Notre Dame board of trustees from 2014 to 2017 and is currently a member of the Donald R.
