Ronen Rubinstein is an Israeli-American actor, writer, director, environmentalist, and activist. He is best known for his roles as Nathan in the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black and as TK Strand in the Fox spin-off TV series 9-1-1: Lone Star created by Ryan Murphy. Rubinstein was named to the New Hollywood A-Ranking, a list of the ten most exceptional new talents in Hollywood, in 2020.
Apart from his acting career, Rubinstein is also an environmentalist. He became a climate activist and sustainability activist after surviving Hurricane Sandy. He’s a spokesperson for The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit engineering organization that’s working on a massive C-shaped device to clean up the world’s oceans of plastic pollution.
